In my opinion I would say due to their elemental makeup of fire...fire is a aggressive, head strong, destructive element..human are made of earth with a combination of the other elements which makes us more balanced at times...djinn are fire & wind both can be unstable which creates their characteristics being more temperamental. .

I have been working with Djinn for a lot of years now and I have learned that not all of them are temperamental. some are, some arent. I think its about the personality of the spirit. Hi.

True, that might explain some of the reason for them being temperamental. But what about the Marid djinns? don't they represent the water element?. And fire can also can represent passion too!. I happen to think that all the djinn races are quite complex in nature, so I can only imagine the answer to be quite complex as well! .But please all answers are welcomed!!!!

Very good question Serenity and based on the responses below, all of you are right. Each spirit is different and that is especially true with the Djinn and honestly, all spirits. Also with the Djinn they can come in a wide range of colors! Blessings to you all. Luke

Djinn that are of water ( I.e. Marid) can be equally temperamental as their Fire kin. Fire when ired or otherwise provoked can have a short-fuse temper-wise yes, but it doesn't last that long. Water...yeah, depending on personality of the Marid, their ire can simmer and last much longer. I say it like this fire typically does not hold grudges but water elements can. This passage comes from one of my Djinn that shared this knowledge with me and now I share with you.
